Normally this recipe calls for plain ol’ milk chocolate Hershey’s kisses and the cookie dough ball is rolled in sugar, but if that’s what this cookie recipe called for, then it wouldn’t be a Peanut Butter Christmas Kiss Cookie, now would it?
So, our cast of ingredients are down below, everyone say “hello” to them.
I love this recipe because it’s so delicious. I have nothing but fond memories of Peanut Butter Kiss cookies, and it’s so simple to make them!
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Farenheit.
Put the sugar, peanut butter and egg inside of a mixing bowl. Mix until combined.
Have sprinkle options (if you have options available, but options are more fun, so you really should have options!)
Then, roll dough into about 1 inch balls. Pick your sprinkles and roll away until the dough is coated in sprinkles!
Then place them in the oven for 10 minutes. Remove from the oven and let cool for a minute or two. After that, press a Hershey’s Kiss into the middle of the cookie. Don’t make the mistake that I did and put the Hershey’s Kiss into the oven immediately after you take the cookies out…the kiss will, I repeat it will (and does) melt. Totally and completely melts.
And so, now that you know my embarrassing story, if you do as I say and not as I do, you’ll have some cute and tasty Peanut Butter Christmas Kiss Cookies on your hands! And in your belly. 😉
