Siesta Scripture Memory Verse #4

It’s that time again!  During these next two weeks, I will be memorizing a verse from Psalm 139:3, “You see me when I travel and when I rest at home.  You know everything I do.”

It’s a really simple verse, but also it’s a weighty and at the same time, encouraging reminder.  The God of the universe, the God who holds everything in His hand and who is King of all of the earth, watches us when we are awake and when we are lying down.  He knows everything that we do.  I think that this remarkable truth is so easily forgotten by us.  To me it’s a comfort in knowing that my almighty, Heavenly Father knows what’s going on in my life all of the time.  And not only does He know, He also cares.  Cool, huh? 🙂
